The Agriculture Leadership Award has been instituted in 2008 by the Agriculture Today Group to recognize the leadership roles played by individuals and institutions, which are positively impacting the lives of farmers and rural masses.

The citation elucidates the contribution made by the company in introducing the micro irrigation technology by making complete range of products available to the farmers, committing huge resources for disseminating the technology among the masses, and helping the governments to shape their policies toward micro irrigation. It also recognized the company’s unique approach of integrating with the entire agriculture value chain to facilitate scientific & precision farming and overall agricultural development.
