News @ Jains - Bhavarlal Jain honoured with Kriyasheel Global Award 2011

Managing Director of Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd., (JISL) Anil Jain is accepting the Kriyasheel Global Award 2011 given to JISL Founder Chairman Bhavarlalji Jain by Sadguru Mangeshda Kriya Yoga Foundation.

Mumbai, - The Founder Chairman of Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd (JISL) Bhavarlalji Jain was felicitated with Kriyasheel Global Awards 2011 for his valuable contribution to the field of agriculture and environment. Managing Director of JISL, Anil Jain, accepted the Award on his behalf. Along with Shri Bhavarlalji Jain, Poet Mangesh Padgaonkar, Retd. IPS Officer Kiran Bedi and the Leader of World Alliance Kiya Sker were also honoured for their notable contribution in their fields with the Kriyasheel Global Awards 2011. This grand ceremony was held at the Rangsharada Auditorium Bandra under the Chairmanship of noted senior singer Padma Vibhushan Kishori Amonkar.

All the felicitated persons have created an ideal before the common man through their extra-ordinary work ethics, Shri Shri Mangeshda said at the function. These persons are really the pearls and diamonds in our society and we feel honoured by felicitating them, he added. He also gave details about the eye donation campaign called I Pledge You Pledge. The newsletter of Mangeshda Kriya Yoga Foundation was also released on this occasion.

Mr Anil Jain, in his reply to the felicitation of Bhavarlalji Jain, said that Sadguru Mangeshda Kriya Yoga Foundation has done immense work for the betterment of the society. He informed the audience about Jain Irrigation’s pioneering work in agriculture and in the environment. He praised the former’s work in harmoniously combining the two different subjects of the religion and the family life and he underscored the need of such Gurus to guide the spiritual devotees.

Those individual who have performed exceedingly well in their vocation like science, medical field, arts, social work, sports and music and thereby, contributed immensely to the welfare of the society are the ones who were being honoured by Sadguru Mangeshda Kriya Yoga Foundation. There are many people in the society who are bringing about very positive changes in the society and Sadguru Mangeshda Kriya Yoga Foundation has decided to felicitate them for accepting their contribution. Shri Shri Mangeshda said these awards are given so that others should take inspiration from such persons to achieve excellence in their own fields and thereby help the society.

These awards are being given from the year 2006. Padma Bhushan Dr. Raghunath Mashelkar, Padma Vibhushan Mohan Dharia, noted senior singer Padma Vibhushan Kishori Amonkar, Padma Shri Dr Vijay Bhatkar, Hockey Player Padma Shri Dhanraj Pillay, Yogacharya Sadashiv Nimbalkar Guruji, Nanik Rupani, Udayraj Gadnis, Vitthal Patil, Jyotirbhaskar Jayant Salgaonkar, Suresh Prabhu, Dr Suresh Adwani, Prabhakar Panshikar, Vitthal Kamat, Dr V N Shrikhande, Kesaribhau Patil, and Dr. Sanjay Oak have also been honoured with the Kriyasheel Global awards.
