Delhi, Feb 9th, 2009 : Agri-Irrigation major Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd (JISL) was facilitated with two prestigious awards at the international exhibition PlastIndia. Outstanding Performance in Export and Fastest Growing Enterprise (Commodity Polymers) were the top awards conferred upon the Company.

Mr. R Swaminathan, Director (Technology), Jain Irrigation received the first award at the hands of Mr. Kamal Nanavati, Vice President, Reliance Industries while Mr. Atul Jain, Chief Marketing Officer, Jain Irrigation was felicitated with the Fastest Growing Enterprise award at the hands of Mr. Maiya, MTR group of companies in a glittering ceremony here today.

The prize distribution function held at the Durbar Hall of the Taj Palace was attended by all prominent personalities from the leading companies of the plastic Industry. The panel of the experts that selected the awardees comprised of two scientists from the University and 8 experts selected by the PlastIndia across the country. The Panel was headed by Mr. Nirmal Thakar. The exhibition was inaugurated by President of India Smt. Pratibha Patil adding upon its significance.
