....“I visited the Jains after a gap of about 5 years. I entered the new premises to see the Jains new factory. I could not believe my eyes since s much development / changes have taken place in various activities. Many sophisticated equipments & instruments even to assemble the parts of small drippers to test its specifications and clarify it accordingly. Similar things I can quote many. The R&D farm has been renovated to test demonstration of research. In a short period of 5 to 6 years, they have converted above 80,000 to 85,000 acres land in drip irrigation, which is above 70% to 75% of drip irrigated land in India. I am happy to see the introduction of liquid fertilizers to use it in the drip irrigation (fertigation). I am sure it will increase the yield and save fertilizers, which is very much needed for our country.
I am also surprised very much about their new ventures in the coming years such as the solar energy, tissue culture, green houses, seeds, fruits & vegetable processing, hi-tech agri exchange centre.
All this will help to increase in living conditions of the farmers of the country and I know Jain’s aim is to help the farmers always. I wish them very success in all their endeavours.”.... |
